- Rejected after February 20-22 interview weekend. The Program Executive Committee (PEC) has completed the review of the applicants we have interviewed so far. Unfortunately, I must inform you that we will not be able to offer you a position in our 2020-2021 graduate school class. As you know, our applicant pool is very competitive and we can accept only a limited number of students. Although you have many strong attributes, your overall application was not as strong as those of some of the other applicants. Due to the large number of applications we received this year, the PEC decided that we are highly unlikely to make you an offer and it would be in your best interest to pursue other options. I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am sure you will have other excellent opportunities and I wish you the best of success in your future scientific career.
