- TTPB. I received the offer 2or 3weeks ago. I have declined it already for having several better choice. I think you have a strong profile and better academic background. I don’t have pub, not straight A GPA, and my grad program is far from a top program. Also I don’t have any experience with biostat, both course and research. But my math background is good, have taken lots of upper level theoretical courses in statistics, and got strong letters in such courses. Maybe they like math students or your recommendation letters are too average.
