- DREAM SCHOOL! ChemE background(undergrad ranked #4 in the US). Exchange semester at ETH in the materials science department, did a masters project and got LOR from a professor in the department. Two other LORs are from professor at my home university(honor's senior thesis) and from a German professor(summer internship in his lab). Decent letter of motivation. Average GPA and GRE (was stressing hard about this)! But I talked to the student admissions/department secretary at ETH when I went back to Switzerland to visit my bf (PhD at ETH) and got some confidence back^^ 2 years of research experience & 2 papers in process. SO HAPPY! Good luck to everyone else and believe in yourself
