- I've been a little surprised by this process. I was at the first interview weekend for the program and multiple current students stated the high chances of admission if you are selected for the first weekend. This, coupled with the relaxed and very one sided interviews (most faculty gave me presentations and tried to persuade me to join their labs), made me pretty confident in an offer. I was actually most confident in my interviews at Pitt than any other university. I'm disappointed because this was my first choice, but I'm lucky to have other options. I just wish the interactions I had at during my interview weekend would not have been so misleading.
