- Re UC Irvine funding: The letters we received were unofficial letters of acceptance. In the unofficial letter we’re told we get full funding for the next 5 years, as well as the fact that we won’t need to TA for the first year. The stipend amount we’ll have to wait to find out in the official acceptance, which we’re told we’ll get within 10 days of the unofficial acceptance.
