- Not surprised. I interviewed on 1/7/20 and again that week--they were my first PhD interviews, and I was super nervous. A little disappointed, but while one interview went well, I didn't feel the second went so well, and that second interview actually made me not want to work with the POI who was interviewing me. Hoping funding from other accepted programs comes through so as to not have to do this process all over, and I will be happy to go to one of the programs that accepted me if funding does come through!
