EMPA 2020 so my story's probably a bit different. 4.5yrs work experience post-undergrad, 8.5yrs altogether - mostly public sector: Bureau of Labor Statistics/Treasury. 3.4 undergrad & 3.5 grad in International Affairs/Economics, low GREs, strong LORs, strong work experience & pretty strong essays.
