- Concerned/guessing that being rejected here means my application was not nearly competitive enough, so a fortiori I'll be rejected by all the other (more prestigious) programs I had applied for as well. Positive side, it's helpful to know this early. Master (from a very low ranking department though), plenty of research experience and 4 publications; research interests not that overlapping with those of the faculty.
