- Got rejected, it really sucks. I thought I would definitely get in. They said, " This decision should not be viewed as an evaluation of your acceptability as a graduate student, but rather as an indication of the degree of competition in your department". I don't even know what that means. First rejection, 5 more schools to go. Hopefully, I get accepted into at least one. This was one of my safety schools.
