- Environmental Engineering major from outside USA, 4 years research experiences, 5 published papers (2 1st authors, one is very competitive jornal), 3 strong LORs (one is very very strong letter from IVY, research collaborator and submitted paper to top journal together few days ago), contacted POI after submitting my application and had 2 times interview. I guess my very strong research background and publications covered my poor GRE score. I had a strong belief that GRE verbal score is not really important and thus didn't waste my time for it.
