- To poster below: Also wondering the same thing. According to posts at comp bio phd admissions thread in forum, it seems like the invites were mass emails. But so far no one's mentioned having been accepted to the program without interview; previous years suggest that immediate accept emails are also sent out when they invite ppl for interviews, not sure if the same thing's happening this year.
