- Undergrad in Pharmacy, summa cum laude (Peru), MS in Clinical Chemistry (Brazil) > Changed to Neuroscience field 1 year ago. 5yr Phamacogenetics research exp + 1yr of Neuroscience experience, currently at UVA as Visiting Scholar. 1 first-auth, 1 second-auth, 2 co-author articles (impact factor < 4.0). Program Administrator called me to discuss my transcript. Confusing because of my scores being on a different scale. 2nd time applying to grad school, last year was disastrous. I have contacted/talked with some PIs before the application deadline. Internationals from the Global South, do not give up please! takes time, but let's continue trying... try to look for application fee waivers.
