- I am a current student at Fordham, Class of 2023. Fordham lacks a lot of professionalism and the program itself needs work. They hire professors who recently completed the Ph.D from Fordham and are working or already have private practices. This becomes a problem because classes are often cancelled, tests are open book, take home exams and students are underprepared when they enter the field. If you wish to apply to a school psychology program I would advise applicants to apply to well renowned universities like Columbia. All applicants are required to take workshops for the program. Fordham offers workshops for their students for $65.00-85.00 while Columbia offers workshops for $25.00 and also provides their students with practicum sites ( Queens College does this as well) Please do not come to this university it will disappointing experience
