- SOOO... U of H is my ideal choice. I have family members whose health is declining, so I really needed to be home. On April 15th, I accepted an offer from another school because I didn't think UH would end up accepting me. The other school is more than twice the distance from my home and I was already having anxiety about the commuting/other financial, transportation, and family issues. I was considering letting them know I didn't think I could do the program after all and taking a year off. Then, UH e-mailed me on Friday that I'd been accepted off the waitlist. My heart says I need to go ahead and let the other school know I need to move in a different direction although words can't explain how bad I feel about accepting then rejecting an offer. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated but keep in mind that the ideal situation is that I don't have to go back on my word... but at what point is this more important than my living needs? idk.
