- Oh well, I have a Math. double major. I have an A on graduate real analysis, and took any math course that is even remotely related to Economics. I have taken analysis courses most of economics professors did not even heard of and made them. I have taken phd level courses as electives during my economics bachelor, and took around 6 graduate level courses. I have a GPA of above 3.90 in both my majors. I was rejected last week. It has NOTHING to do with your GPA or whatever courses. The only thing that matters is which school you are from, who your referees are.
