- I had already chosen to attend my top choice prior to this rejection (I decided not to attend SFSU regardless after hearing how delayed the admissions decision process would be as compared to most programs). I was surprised I wasn't offered a spot considering I had an interview and was accepted into all the other schools I applied to, including multiple top-ranked programs. Make sure if you decide to apply here that you REALLY want to go here, as the entire application process was very lengthy, expensive (over 2 times more expensive than my next most expensive program's app. fee), and unorganized. This is the only school I have ever heard of that has asked me for my official ACT scores (in addition to GRE scores), which I had to pay an additional $50 to retrieve from the testing company's archives. Another red flag was that I emailed SFSU back in November to try and arrange a time to tour campus and have yet to receive an email response. Moral of the story for future applicants - do your research before applying!
