- I don't really understand why Purdue would reject me. I have a 4.0 GPA, tons of experience as an English TA, Writing Assistant, and English tutor, a study abroad experience at Oxford, a strong writing sample, strong rec letters, etc. I'm so surprised. The only reason I can think of is the fact that I didn't go to a big-name school for my undergrad. Anybody else surprised?
