- To the other UT Austin IEOR PhD admit: Did you get confirmation that you were accepted to the PhD program? I applied for the PhD program but did not receive any communication from the department. I gave them a call and was notified that I had actually been admitted to the masters program. Emailed a professor to clarify. Pretty upset that they would reject me from doctoral program but not give me notice... instead misleading me by telling me I had been accepted to a program for which I did not apply.
