- To the poster below regarding MILA v CMU: MILA all the way. It has one of the best AI/ML programs and great opportunities for research. Don't worry about jobs in the US. MILA graduates are in high demand in machine learning in all major tech companies. Ian Goodfellow completed his PhD at MILA under Yoshua Bengio and he's one of the best deep learning researchers today. He rejected Stanford for Montreal and is currently a research scientist at Google Brain.
