- Just finished on-site interview this weekend. It was a 4-day long thing for me. First day was an evening social event + graduate student presentation, second day was actual interviews (1 hr with potential mentor and 30 min with other faculty members in the program) + social event at a bar with everybody + dinner with the lab, third day was a trip to museum with grad students and candidates + house party with the same group, and the last day was voluntary attendance at a food festival with some grad students and applicants (most people didn't come).
