- Materials science track (note to future applicants: SEAS accepts students based on fit with and recommendation by (a) specific advisor(s). A large fraction of students, maybe 30%, do switch advisors, and this is fine as long as you find another SEAS professor to work with. Department seems very chill about this process, modulo individual attitudes. I did not list my advisor on my SoP, but we had a productive skype chat after I applied and it worked out for me.)
