- Rejected extremely unfairly. Bad selection criteria - Advisor who has funding only they will get you in the Ph.D. program regardless of how good work you have done during your master's program. SOP, Research papers, Recommendation letters - None of that matters. Admission committee doesn't even think that they are playing with the lives of students. Dejected with this horrible selection process. Worked really hard - will exit without a Ph.D. from here.
