- Invited to an on-site interview on Jan 3. Just finished the on-site interview. It went on for 2 days total. The first day was grad students from different programs presenting their two-year projects, and a dinner with grad students in your program. The second day was interviews with 3 faculty members + your POI's lab (so 4 interviews total). Then lunch, campus tour, city tour/hang out with grad students at a coffee place (coffee paid by the department), dinner with faculty and students from the entire department, and some time at a bar with candidates and grad students who wanted to go (optional but first drink is on the department). The department provided partial reimbursement for airfare, and paid for 2 nights at a Hilton. There were grad students driving us around the whole time so we didn't have to call Uber or Lyft ourselves. It was so nice. #Love
