- An Indian assistant Professor sucks. He is an liar and has terrible personality.Before I start to apply, he read all my application documents and made a phone interview with me. Then, he encouraged me to apply and I did my application as soon as possible and I was waiting for the good news with full confidence. However, he called me at the middle of March and told me that the committee members doubted my background (Not him). At that time, I decide to fly to the school immediately and pay more than $1,200 for the trip. I thought I may convince the members in this trip. Ironically, after I talked with professors and students in his department, I found the doubt actually comes from him instead of other members.In addition, a MIT applicant may come and he want to wait for his response. It's reasonable but I am supposed to know I am the secondary choice. If I know the truth, I will never make the trip. And also, why I was encouraged to apply after he read all my materials and made a phone interview? Didn't he find we are not matched? He did everything by taking advantage of the weaker applicants!
