- I also got the same email. If you click the link in the email, it says "Your qualification for the fellowships listed below does not guarantee you will be a recipient of these funds, or that you are admitted to the ESE PhD Program." I had an interview ~2 weeks ago and got this email today. I think this email does not mean much. I would guess it means that if you do qualify for fellowships, it would mean you have a higher chance of acceptance because you would cost them very little money. I would assume it is best not to overthink the email. The email says we will hear back in 2-3 weeks. Best of luck to all.
