- I had SLPA internship experience, imo strong essays, and great letters of reference to balance out my app. Applied to Emerson and CSUN distance in June but havent heard back. Accepted NYU cause of decision deadline & scholarship. NYU gives out scholarships based on financial need which made it closer in tuition $ to Emerson's... something to consider.
