- I got rejected a month ago and I still can't get over it - it just hurts me every single day. Not trying to be dramatic, but I feel like this is the right place to share my disappointment and unbearable feelings of getting rejected after being waitlisted for 5 months. At that time I had so much hope. It is simply the worst feeling I have ever had in my whole life - this PhD program meant so much to me. I just don't know what to do with my life and having to live with this feeling every day. I gave up so many great job offers with 4k a month for my PhD study, but I lost everything at the end. I really don't give a damn about the jobs offers as much as I do about my PhD study.
