- To the poster below asking about Clarendon: I was informed about a week ago. I had been put forward for ESRC at the outset, but was eventually classified as Overseas, which made that moot. About three weeks ago I was then told that I was NOT successful with Clarendon. The news was entirely unexpected and I was very close to simply withdrawing my application and moving on to an offer I had elsewhere. The letter was emailed direct from Clarendon and specified that I had two weeks to notify them of my decision. Long story short, there are still people who will be getting late offers!
