- to the poster below asking about Texas Tech, I was notified last wednesday (4/4) that I was waitlisted and would need to accept or deny my alternate position within 10 days. Last Friday (4/6) I received another email from Tech stating that I had been admitted. I never accepted or denied the alternate position, so I was kind of surprised. I declined my position in the program, though as I accepted elsewhere with a GA
