- Email said that a letter was sent to my permanent address, but if I haven’t received it yet attached was my rejection letter. Kind of shocked since last year they waitlisted me with a lower GPA, lower GRE scores in all categories, and less experience. I took my name off of their waitlist last year when I accepted a position as a special education paraprofessional so I could gain more experience working with kids. I continued to work as an ABA therapist, added an additional LOR from the head of the com dis department at my school, retook the GRE and improved my scores by a lot, and updated my personal statement. Not sure what else I could have done to improve my application from last year and show that I’m serious about this profession.
