- To the poster below, congratulations! At the moment, I am leaning more towards UofM due to its huge alumni network and research opportunities which may be harder to find in Columbia with a small program. Also, U of M is ranked higher for civil engineering and more recognizable as a strong engineering program. Hope that helped!
