- I turned own UNO because lack of funding. It was all rather funny, really; I emailed the program to give me some update on funding, I got a reply back from the director (Neil)to basically give them my best offer elsewhere to see if they could match it, I replied and he promptly told me he could not match what I was offered at another program. I thanked him for his transparency and said my good-byes. He was very kind thorough, but I am a single mother with two small kids so I must consider funding, unfortunately. I believe UNO is an up-and-coming program and New Orleans is amazing, so don't be afraid to accept.
