- To the applicant who wrote the long note concerning their rejection to ME studies. Judging by your profile, it seems like this is Oxford's loss, you clearly are motivated and intelligent, and should use this rejection as motivation. Screw Oxford, become incredibly successful in your field without them, and then send them an email later on pointing out their mistake. I once heard about a Bush administration cabinet member who was previously rejected from Harvard but accepted to Yale email Harvard admissions once he was appointed, and pointed out the mistake they made in rejecting him. Harvard admissions actually replied too. Another option for you could also be to email admissions and ask why they rejected you because your profile is exceptionally strong. I was also rejected, but will take an offer elsewhere.
