- Hello Modern Middle Eastern Studies person who wrote the long note. I just wanted to tell you that I was rejected last year (not even interviewed) and accepted this year (in another field of study, but still). I thought my chances where gone but here I am. So reapplying is definitely an option for you. Yes I know how crushing it is to get the bad news and that you may feel like giving up now. But the feeling of ambition comes back soon. I used the year to find a high end internship with a big name and boom I was taken. I wish you the best of luck! Cheers!
