- Did anyone get accepted to the Archaeology PhD program besides the one person from February? The waiting was driving me crazy so glad to just know the decision. I was interested in Berkeley for its interdisciplinary approach but I think in the end that there wasn't a particular person in the department who was the right fit for the research I was looking to do so I'm ok with it. Curious what other people's research was focused on and their acceptance rate this year. I have a Masters from UCL, 5+ years of research. I've received feedback that my application was very strong from other professors so I would love some feedback from Berkeley so I can see where I can improve, has anyone been able to get feedback on their applications? That said, I have had many in the field try to steer me away from the program while I was waiting for the decision so I am curious to know why as I keep hearing half veiled negativities. Anyway, congrats to those who did get in!
