- Applied to the ECE school for the bioengineering Phd (as opposed to applying to biomedical engineering) 1 coauthor ship. a bunch of poster presentation coauthorships. 1 first author poster and 1 first author manuscript in the works. Worked as an RA 2 years after undergrad Legitimately shocked. Although there are many faculty that interested me here, my GPA was below the "minimum" on their website (3.5) and I had low expectations about my chances. I decided to say fuck it and applied anyways after I saw someone with a sub 3.5 GPA got accepted as well.
