- In response regarding POI- The person I interviewed with informed me that all of the top applicants are basically divided randomly among faculty members to be called for interviews. They do not really assign you a mentor until you arrive on campus at the start of the semester. So the person you interview with may not be yor too pick but also may not be who you have to work with if admitted.
