- Was accepted and offered the Edmund Rice Scholrship which is $500 per 3 credit course. No way will I be accepting as I applied just as a backup but I will be attending Teachers College, Columbia University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Iona in 2016 with a degree in speech-language pathology, but I would not advise choosing Iona if you received offers elsewhere. I was a student clinician in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic and while it is a beautiful clinic, it was terribly run. While I received an A in clinic the support was not great. I believe the program is still in preaccreditation and does not offer the opportunity to obtain the TSSLD, which is a goal of mine as I intend to be school based. So again, if you have the opportunity to choose between other schools do so.
