- I got put on the alternative list for Audiology Program at Texas Tech; I'm praying a spot opens up.... I didn't get into Lamar or UT Austin. How long are people normally on the "waitlist"; my letter said possibly until July and I'm like that's a long time to wait to know if I got in or not... I signed the contract that I wanted the position.
