- Got an email inviting me to the open house. Hello! The Department of Ethnic Studies would like to officially extend an invitation to visit the University of California, Riverside campus. We will be hosting an Open House for selected applicants for Wednesday, April 5, 2017. It will be a one day event where you will have the opportunity in meeting faculty, current graduate students, and visit the campus location. The Department of Ethnic Studies Graduate Admissions Committee found you as a strong candidate and we would like to take the opportunity in meeting with you on a campus visit. At this moment, I would like to know if you would be available to attend and if so, what kind of travel arrangements would you need to make to attend? We would like to contribute to your travel costs.
