- Finally! I was getting really pessimistic about my options. I received an email from the director of graduate programs. It does not have information about funding, although it says they are reviewing funding opportunities for me. P.S. For the poster below asking about UMich, I also applied for a PhD and haven't heard back from them. I contacted them when I submitted my application and they told me that decisions are made by April 1.
