- To the Nova Southeastern Poster about being placed on the hold status, they explained it to us when i interviewed. If you get put on hold it means that they would like to possibly offer you admission, but are waiting to hear back from their first round of acceptances. When they have open spots to fill they will review everyone they have placed on hold again and choose between those applicants. What's cool about it is you can continue to submit updated transcripts, GRE scores, another essay, or another letter of Recommendation that you feel may help your chances.
