- "It is my pleasure to inform you that the Graduate Policy Committee of the Department of English has recommended your admission to the doctoral program in English. Your application now proceeds to the UWM Graduate School for final approval, and if your application package is complete you should receive final word from them shortly." Also placed on a waitlist for a TAship. Excited but also nervous about funding.
