- one of my professors didn't send a recommendation on time.:( They that they already have too many applications, and since mine is still incomplete, the department doesn't have the resources to evaluate it for fall 2017. Basically, they're considering me a very early applicant for spring 2018. Or maybe this is their way of sugar-coating a rejection.
