- Apparently they withheld a lot of applications because they didnt want to reject tons of people at once. He noted in his email that he understands that applications take a lot of time and effort, and yet he spelled my first name wrong (very common American name) and had at least two typos in the body text. Apparently the time needed to put together an application on our part does not warrant the time necessary to proofread an email on theirs.
