- I was rejected only because I have not secured a supervisor and unfortunately the number of openings available with the professors for that particular term is never known to us. We just apply and wait for these kind of results for more than 4 months. My suggestion to all the masters aspirants is, if you are truly interested in research and looking to go for P.hd then apply to the research programs like M.A.Sc otherwise straight away go for the M.Eng. The admission decision for M.Eng will not be based on acceptance from any of the supervisors rather will be on your academic record and references (experience in relevant field would be added advantage)
