- Applied in late November, interviewed at the beginning of January. Received a Gates rejection, which led me to believe that I was one of their top academic applicants. Canadian, 85.8% average. Research proposals lined up with their expertise. Waited five months for a response - would've appreciated just getting rejected sooner. Best of luck to those who got in!
