- For all of you fiction applicants who have been waiting patiently in purgatory, I emailed the department and received this response/unofficial rejection: "Initial Prose offers went out about 2 wks ago. We are still waiting to hear who is going to be coming. Applicants receiving funded offers have until 4/15 to let us know although we are hoping to hear sooner. Some Prose applicants have also received wait list letters/emails. I checked for you and you are not on these initial lists. Since our program is small, it is most likely that the committee will get their class from these two groups of people although since only a couple of people have officially accepted, they will not start letting people know there will be no more offers until they are closer to getting their class, hopefully in the next few days."
