- I had applied for computer science majors in November. I have a master's degree in Vlsi n embedded systems. Gre score of 307 and Toefl 95. Got a rejection mail today stating Thank you for your recent application to the University of Colorado at Boulder, Department of Computer Science. We received applications from many highly qualified applicants and competition for the limited number of openings was keen. The acceptance rate this year was only 12% of the total application pool and hence the admission was very competitive. We regret to inform you that we are not able to recommend an offer of admission for the fall 2016 semester. Admission decisions are reached after examining the merits of the applicants as well as determining the availability of faculty and facilities.
