- Funding with TAship! Very nice E-mail from director! I just wanted to say to everyone to keep your head up, your hopes high, and keep working hard. The first year I applied, I got rejected from 7 schools, including UMD. The second year, I was rejected again, wait listed in UMD but extremely low on the list. It can be heart breaking and nerve-racking, but keep at it!
